Chipley Daisy Troop 230, along with co-leaders Lesa Burdeshaw
and Jennifer Sapp and each scout's mom, was recently treated to
a tour of the Chipley Pizza Hut.
Upon arrival they were greeted by Teresa Foxworth, regional
general manager, and members of the management crew, Kathryn
Strickland and Rick Marshall.
Strickland took the girls on a behind the
scenes tour of the kitchen facilities. Each girl created her own
personal pan pizza, cooked it in the oven, and enjoyed eating it
as a group.
The troop held their January meeting at Pizza Hut after the
girls enjoyed lunch.
Daisy Girl Scouts are girls ages five to six, who meet in groups
of five to ten, with two or more adult leaders, in a nurturing,
inclusive environment. They go on trips, learn about nature and
science, and explore the arts and their communities. Daisy Girl
Scouts can also earn Learning Petals and receive participation
patches.
